It seems they have offered everyone but Coach Kelsch the job. I know what my response would be if they came calling now to Coach Kelsch. He deserves better than the way this has been handled.

Heard today that the coach that went to Boyle Co. was offered the job as long as the assistant could also come. But evidently that didn't pan out either. So I guess they are back to the drawing board. Who knows what Nicholas Co will do. Seems like they do alot bass ackwards.

The team needs a coach soon because of the summer camps, practices, etc. Seems to me either the administration in Nicholas is being either very lazy or very selective on the job. I do not know what they are thinking, Kelsch is a good man and he deserves the position.

We've went over this before,Coach Kelsch will never leave Bracken County. It would be like a Gallenstein leaving St. Patrick. Just can't see that Kelsch name in Nicholas County.

If you want to get really down to it, there have been Gallensteins that have left St. Patrick. If Nicholas offers, Kelsch is gone.

I think we should have a poll on how long it will take Nicholas to make an offer.

Who knows, was talking to someone yesterday that said the boys coach was going to take them to several camps this summer, maybe they can combine and make one decent team. Here there boys aren't very much at all.

Coach Kelsch is very loyal to Bracken County, but a head coaching chance is a chance and you have to take it. HE was already passed over once, foolishly, at Bracken County.

 

If he were at Augusta Schools I might see that statement holding some water. As PRESSROW said, if Nicholas County offers and they SHOULD, then Kelsch would jump at the chance.

 

I am a bit surprised by the delay in anaming a coach, it has taken entirely to long and NCHS should be ashamed.

Mr. Kelsch is married and marital status shouldnt affect a coaching decision. He has a daughter and another child on the way. Mr. Kelsch's wife is from Corbin, Kentucky and from what I have heard they are willing to move to the Carlisle area if he is given the coaching position. That would make her 1 hour closer to her family... Mr. Kelsch is just patiently waiting.
