Let's get this thread, back on the Players.

I am not saying all AAU coaches are bad, I do think a lot of them are though. I believe that a lot of coaches are trying to use players to get what they can out of them. Also I have not liked what I have seen some of the coaches do. There are probably some coaches who do it for the right reasons, but lets be honest there are a lot of shady things going on. And I am not pointing any fingers at anyone individually.

As for the best players I have seen this summer I always like watching Novosal play. I have also been impressed by the potential of the big man from Montgomery Co. and I really like Michael Sparks and Henderson from their respective teams.

In no order (The top two which will compete for Mr. Basketball are the legit top two players in the state this year):

Darius Miller (Mason County)

Bud Mackey (Scott County)

Scotty Hopson (UHA)

Shelvin Mack (Bryan Station)

Arrez Henderson (Covington Holmes)

Aaron Morris (Madison Central)

Nathan Novosel (Lexington Catholic)

Landon Sloan (Paintsville)

Victor Moses (Henry Clay)

Matt Thomas (Ashland)

Jacob Jenkins (Manual)

Dakota Euton (Rose Hill)

Michael Sparks (Tates Creek)

Cameron Hundley (Scott County)

Tyler Brown (Apollo)

Jordan Lee (Scott County)

Clark Stepp (June Buchanan)

Jaron Jones (Bryan Station)

Victor Moses (Henry Clay)

Jordan Smart (Lexington Catholic)

Josh Crawford (Corbin)

Darrin Ballou (Adair)

Darnell Moore (Madisonville-North Hopkins)

Tyler Portwood (Scott County)

Adam Delph (Pleasure Ridge Park)

May want to add Lexington Catholic's Taylor Stewart to that list. He's really developed his game and is a multi-dimensional scorer.

Trevor Setty anyone?
