He tied for last place selection with three other players by receiving one first team vote and 10 votes overall.

Not trying to rain on the parade, just saying what it is.

That's impossible....He doesn't have the shot to play in the NBA.:sssh:

 Yeah but he does have the "all about me" attitude, in the NBA that makes up for no shot. :sssh: :D

Still though, no sign of Shelden or JJ...

How does the 5th pick not make the 1st or 2nd teams?

It doesn't matter where he was selected. The fact is that he is a 2nd Team selection.

Congrats to Rondo.

Congrats to the former WILDCAT!

 Sure you are!..People ususally dont break down exactly how the voting went unless they are trying to put down a player by trying to take away from what he got. So that is trying to rain on the parade, and that is what it is...:sssh: ;)

No matter what the voting went like, he still ended up being on the 2nd team all rookie team! So congrats to him, however I still dont like him...

Seriously, you couldn't believe how little I care. Actually, it would be even better if Rondo were the top rook in the league, because then the question would be- why wasn't he doing it in college? Not to mention the fact that he desperately wanted to play for Pitino, and UK only got him because Pitino thought Telfair was a sure thing to come to college. I would add that while Telfair obviously didn't make it to U of L and isn't looking too hot in the NBA, his recruitment and signing really put Rick back in the limelight in NYC. It's paid dividends.

How many first round picks in the NBA draft? Tied for last place on the second team puts him at somewhere between 10-12th best out of (most likely) 30 players. At most 40. I'm just not sure that you need to strike up the band for that.

:thumb: I agree on all points you made with this one.

And here's your #1 pick in last year's draft. He looks like a true baller don't he...?

^He actually is really good. He had a heck of a playoff series...

Didn't say he wasn't any good...I just said he "Looks" like a true baller...
