Nothing wrong with that option in my eyes.

IMO, it is Floyd's position to turn down. I don't see him doing that. The question in my mind is who will he name as his assistant?

I agree here incognito, I also understand and have heard that there is one other "outside" applicant being considered (and it is not who people think) other than Floyd. Jmo is that Floyd will be named head boys basketbll coach at Raceland.

Imo is that Bob Trimble should be offered the job first. I have no idea if Coach Trimble wants the job or not but by all rights it should be his to turn down.

Sounds like they got good options.

I am hearing that Coach Trimble is very happy where he is and wants to coach Rachael because of her dedication to the program coming back from 2 knee injurings. I am also hearing Floyd will be offered the job.

Why should Trimble be offered the job first?? He has done a great job with the girls program but Floyd has been a vital part to Racelands success in the past 5 or 6 seasons. If the job goes to anyone but Floyd Raceland should be ashamed. This is a no brainer that even I can figure out.

It is JMO but Trimble has put in the time and dedication to Raceland through the years and another one of my opinions is that he is and has been the best basketball coach in the system for some time now.

JMO and I am not rying to start anything with this post. I will not debate that last statement. Imo h.s. sports is nothing to get into an "inside" war over :thumb:

Note: My statement is in NO way meant to discredit Coach Floyd at all. I know that he is a very capable and qualified cantidate, I just think that it should be offered to Coach Trimble first and his to turn down. From what I understand now is that Trimble is very happy with the girls coaching and I am fine with that.

I think Coach Floyd will probally be offered the job, I heard that he was offered the Greenup job but said if he was offered the Ram job he would take it and I sure would hate to see Floyd leave, also heard that Trimble said he was not interested he was happy where he was.

Both Trimble and Floyd are excellent coaches. My girls played for Bob for two years and softball for Floyd for 6 yrs. What a great problem to Raceland has...having two great coaches to choose from!
