How is the burg going to replace their stars? Hamblin, Frazier, Root?

Finding some play makers may be tough next year...I hear Will Moses had a good spring...

Bargo is the true genious on the sideline at Williamsburg. I think Moses is a better back than Root but Root will be sorely missed at the linebacker spot. Frazier and Hamblin really stretched the field last year and I believe are irreplacable. Williamsburg will have to throw the ball underneath and to Moses out of the backfield more.

Wayne is the man. With the plan. He has been thru the wars on the gridiron and the court. Never underestimate a Yellow Jacket.

I think Williamsburg will be better up front on both sides of the ball next year. The Jeffries kid will be missed he made a ton of plays in the second half of the season for the Jackets.

That may be tough for Moses as he is most likely to be playing an inside receiver most of the time. On the offensive side look for the ball to go to Moses, Steven Taylor, Aaron Brock, and Daniel Petitte. I'm not saying he will approach Root's ungodly numbers at linebacker, but, Coach Root worked alot with Pettite at LB in the spring and seems pretty excited about his range. He is a big kid at I guess about 6'3" and 220 lbs. and also will line up at TE. Coach Herron looks very comfortable with the play calling in light of Woods retirement. Ryan Moses will have to step up as the QB, but he did look pretty good in the spring game. Doesn't have Fraziers big arm, but is accurate on the underneath stuff. With Abner and Rollins anchoring the line, the Jackets should be strong on both fronts. The schedule is much tougher this year and should help a young Jacket team mature towards the playoffs. For the most Part the coaching staff is intact, with the exception of Woods retirement. I expect Herron will assume a bigger role in the OC area, Hatcher is solid as the DC, and Having an old head like Coach Root around gives alot of maturity and experience to the staff. I look for a 5-5 to 6-4 regular season, and then maybe a surprise or two in the playoffs.

I heard Daniiel Petitt looked good at LB this spring, Coach Root maybe working his magic...Daniel is a big target with good hands, I hear they are going to put some TE formations in to try and get him the ball....I did not realize Steven Taylor was playing this year, he will be a big help at WR...

What is Williamsburg's schedule?

What is Williamsburg's schedule?
Are Lynn Camp and Williamsburg still in the same district, if not do they still play this year???

Yes and yes

Has Williamsburg completed their schedule? I heard they were having a difficult time finding games because 2 Tn. teams dropped them due to scheduling conflicts.

Non-District...LCA, McCreary, Madison Southern, Bath Co., Cumberland, Evarts, Pineville.

I hate that! I was hoping with the realignment that we would never again have to go to Harlan county!!!!

We should cherish old rivalries even if the trip is terrible. I'll miss playing Harlan. I always thought Coach Donahue was a class act.
