Maybe we should get with limestone travel and see if they can work out some nice package deal if multiple people will go .:thumb:

Now probably the top 2 contenders for the state championship next year are both in big-time pre-Christmas tournaments. Scott County to Fort Myers and Mason County to Hawaii, which I had mentioned in the Scott County 07-08 schedule thread. Both teams will benefit greatly from the trememdous competition at each of the tourneys.

Remember you all still have that unused party money.Just kidding!! It will be a great trip for anyone that can make it that's for sure.The kids on the team will have memories for a lifetime no matter what happens on the court over there.Good luck and make Ky proud.:thumb:

Id say Mason Co. can afford to send their team there. They have a lot of support. Thats a big help when trying to get money to go somewhere like that.

Of course, there will always be a few of our good neighbors to the west who will unfortunately see this as just another reason to root against the Royals. What with planning trips to Hawaii and dealing with the merry-go-round of D-1 coaches coming to Maysville (it was Billy Donovan yesterday), probably the last thing on the Royals' minds is the petty jealousy of our fellow 10th Region brethren.:thumb:

Amen to every last word above mcpapa. Got a chance to stop out and take in the open gym and a look at Billy D. The guy doesn't look as if he has been removed from college himself.

 

There were a couple of incoming freshmen and in coming sophomores next year on the floor yesterday in the pickup game that are going to be dandy and add depth to a loaded team already. Of course Miller looked great.

Lady Bear Mom... I agree with what PressRow stated in another thread.. Your absense was probably best for you, BGP, and Bracken Co. I am aware that you are entitled to your opinion and have paid to post on the site, but a lot of the things that you are posting on are reflected on everyone else in Bracken Co. Please keep the posts sensible.

 

I think this trip to Hawaii is a great opportunity for Mason Co. Athletics and Coach O Hearn. Coach O Hearn is a top notch guy who does an excellent job on the sidelines.. CONGRATS to the Royals on this wonderful opportunity.
