Proffitt did struggle in that last game against Holmes, but he doesnt strike me as the type to excel in an all-star setting.

I've just been wondering. I expected a lot out of Profitt when I saw him against Holmes and came away very unimpressed and it doesn't seem like he's done much more in the last two games he's played with talent at the same level of his.

Proffitt isn't the kind of player that will put up points on the Division I level ... Notre Dame will ask him to take care of the ball, distribute it and run the offense. His days of scoring 15-20 points a game are over.

This is my opinion and the opinion of many others I have talked to over the past two years on Ty Proffit"

He is the most overrated D-1 recruit to come out of KY in long time.

He's a good defender, but has to be quicker to guard D-1 PG's.

I've never seen him have a game against good competition and good defenses, where his assist to turnover ratio was 3-1.

His 3pt shot is just ok.

His leadership is his best asset.

He is not 6'4", maybe 6'2".

I have trouble seeing Proffitt being a major contributor at Notre Dame, but I think he would be a solid mid-major guard.

I was thinking the exact same things. I think Arrez Henderson (not being biased) of Holmes really brought out Profitt's weaknesses and showed that Profitt was overrated. With that being said, Henderson is a VERY GOOD defender, but Profitt is going to be going up against kids like him at the next level EVERY night.

Don't look for Profitt to score much at the next level especially playing in the big east. IMO he should have went somewhere smaller where he can make a bigger impact. But hopefully I'm wrong...I love rooting for a KY product at the next level.

Let's not forget a diploma from ND looks pretty good on a resume.

I've been trying to tell everyone - surround Knowles with DI talent and he is going to be a good one!

How did Jordan look in the game?

Coach Scott Humphrey said the same thing at the press conference. Once he is surrounded with better players offensively, shot selection will improve.
