April 11, 200719 yr Miller right now is being recruited on potential(of which it is unlimited)because he has not lived up to the "better than Lofton" hype that has surrounded him since 8th grade. He needs to really turn it up a notch over the summer and next season. It kind of seems like the emergence of Setty(though great for the team)has maybe taken away how Miller can take anyone off the dribble and pushed him inside where he won't be playing in college and doesn't look comfortable doing in high school. He could be a Kevin Durant clone,but afraid you won't see that in high school, but definetly in college.

No it is harder when you have to share the wealth with a lot of other stars on a team to get your points. Say what you want but it is true. Mackey had to share the limelight with the potential Mr. Basketball in the state. Are you serious? So having a very good team doesn't draw the defense away from you because the other team has to guard the other players tightly as well? Darius was the center of attention of the opposing teams defense and he still averaged around 25 a game. Mackey had players like Walls to take away some of the defenses attention and give him more open looks. If you don't think that is true you simply don't know basketball.

They are completely different players and their games are totally different. Bud Mackey went to the same school as Jared Carter, does that mean that they are compared to over and over? Darius is a GREAT player and shouldn't be put in the shadow of one of the best players to ever come out of the 10th region by people like you because he wears the same jersey... Its just not fair to him.

All I know is Mackey has a Ring and last I saw Miller he was crying on the sidelines. Mackey will be the better college player no DOUBT about it.

How am I not grown up? Being on the best TEAM doesn't mean you are the best PLAYER. If that was true, one of the Florida kids would go #1 in the draft before Durant and Oden. Mackey is a great player but it helps him being on a good team. Darius's team was good but not close to that of Mackey's.

Stating your opinion is fine. You think Mackey is better and that is fine. But saying that him being on a great team hurts him just isn't true. And enough with the "panties in a wad" stuff. Its degrading to women and doesn't even apply to this situation. And you told me to grow up...
