Nope. If you would look at all my threads about MVP awards I would rather see a who

1) Makes his teammates around him better and gets his team to be as successful as possible.

2) Performs well in the post season when it absolutely matters the most and gets his teams over the hump.

Again, Walls was part of a talented cast of players ... he benefitted as much from their presence and abilities as they did from his.

No one denies Walls' contributions to Scott County's state title. Again, however, Pettigrew wasn't afforded the same opportunity to make a strong run at Rupp ... Elizabethtown didn't have the horses around him. You act as if he should be able to somehow will a bunch of mediocre players into a championship-caliber team.

I disagree. I think Walls really made everyone around him better. 1 game that really impressed me with Walls was the regular season Lexington Catholic game. Matt got cut before halftime when he was hit getting a rebound (there was no foul). The 2nd half he came back and had a great half, but what was most impressive was when Hundley and Lee fouled out he matched up with Novosel. Novosel had been killing Scott Co. That was with about 6 minutes left in the game I believe. Novosel never scored again, Walls had a big 4th qtr and Scott Co won the game.

My point is, when I watched Walls, even with the good supporting cast he still did it all and meant a lot to the team.

Who is to say he is the best player in the state. What if he played on a team

with the likes of a Makey or Portwood. Would he get his points. I don't think so. So know who is the best player:devil:
