As for UK and Vandy, they may not have had the success in football but if you're going to bash them what about the Mississippi schools who really don't bring anything to the table in either sport? I'm sure that the Florida pres would rather replace UK and Vandy with say Texas and Miami so that he'd have schools that pull their weight in football each year. Oh that's right, if every team in the league were at an elite level in football everyone would finish 8-4 every year and no one would get a BCS game. Its just part of being in a conference, you want the benefits you have to share.

Now Florida is taking care of business in both sports, and Kentucky isn't bringing in any BCS money or Final Four dividend checks.

Ratings for the NCAA tournament are up 2 percent from last year. The national semifinals on CBS on Saturday night had an overnight household rating of 9.3 and a share of 18. The opener, in which Ohio State beat Georgetown 67-60, had a 9.0 rating and 19 share, totals that were less than last year. The second game, with Florida defeating UCLA 76-66, received a 9.5 rating and 17 share, up 12 percent from 2006. :laugh:
