I saw him this weekend at the baseball games. He's a BOB! ( big ol' boy) or better said- Big ol' man among boys!( the BOMB!)

OL just got better very quickly. It is going to be tough for teams to play 190 pound DE's against us. Actually OX had a good point- how about running the counter trey that Male ran so successfully last year pulling the tackle and guard to the right. Bam! 3 yards and a cloud of rubber (we play on sport turf!)

If memory serve me correctly, teams with lighter DE's have beaten X, when X had large OL. Not sure why 1 BOB would make a difference. What type of competition did Russell play anyhow?

The competition in district to be honest was weak. However, in games against 3A teams Ashland, Boyd Co, & Greenup he stepped up. In playoff games vs. Corbin, Belfry, & Mercer Co he played even bigger. He had 8 tackles against Mercer (who was much faster) in the state championship game. He'll be an all state candidate wherever Glaser decides to play him. He'll help the team get better, that's all. He's still got a lot of work to do and is doing it. We'll have to see if it pans out...

I haven't seen them after the season much but here's my summary. Welcome back- I saw your son at the baseball game and I am sure your son will fit in nicely.

Matt Smith, 6-4 265- all state candidate

Chris Jones, 5 8 220 -all heart-nose for the ball. More fumble recoveries and sacks than anyone.

Carpenter,- 5-10 245-good speed, athlete, 3 year player

Foy,-6-6 240 sophomore who needs to fill out and lift( he probably has)

Rayome,- 6-0 220- dislocated knee cap last year, solid before

Craig Brutscher, 5-11 220- sophomore with promise

Hildt, -one of the strongest but smallest- 6-0 195. Fast-played wr first two years.

LB- Heuser,-Division one recruit-adds toughness to defense 6-1 210 Devine, Good solid player

Hall, 6'2 200 bigger and faster every time I see him-

Coombs-with Heuser, adds nastiness and hitting ability

DB- Allgier, good solid db, part time starter last year

Hale,-full time starter- covered Revere from Lex Catholic one on one.

Merrimee, Blake, Kamber, Galbraith - all good athletes

Thanks! Foy is one of Seth's best friends. They've stayed in constant contact.
