He's a beast out there. Some of things he has done tonight is nasty.

Nice block from Patterson.

Anyone know how many points he has had tonight ?

How's he lookin ?

King IMO looks a little slow compared to the rest....

I agree Lucas, Beasley, and Love have looked extremely impressive.

they need to get mayo off the court. he doesnt have it tonight.

Some of the worst shot selection I have seen in a while.

Did they just boo him after that last shot ???

King can shoot from anywhere.

Well, this is my 1st chance to see OJ Mayo play and I must say, he's gotta be the most overrated player i've ever seen...He's not a great ball handler or passer and plays absolutely no defense and is 10 times worse than Joe Crawford ever thought about being in his shot selection...He acts as if theres no shot he doesn't like...I'm sorry folks, but, I'll be very surprised if he ever makes it big in the NBA....His name may get him there, but, he'll be eaten alive once there...

I liked Pattersons game...He's more of a workmanlike player, not alot of flash, but gets the job done...He would be a solid pickup if UK could land him, but, I don't see him bolting to the NBA in a year either....

Lucas is a solid ballhandler and penetrater and can hit the outside shot, but, he's awefully small. Reminds me alot of Ed Davender for those old enough to remember him...He'll be a nice player but could be a deficiency on the defensive end at the college level and would definately be a 4 yr player wherever he goes....

The most impressive of all to me were Beasley, Love and the big 7'0 footer from Ohio...

People have to be realistic when it comes to evaluating a players talent in an ALL STAR game. I have not watched the game & I'm sure Mayo is stinking it up the way you guys are saying but so what... Does that mean he's not gonna be a good player or maybe even great player in College & in the Pros? Most definitely not.

Lets see where he was big at.

......

If OJ will allow someone to coach him he could be great.

How did Pitino not lock him up?

Smith's mother, Monica, also holds a degree from U of L, and his older sister, Sydney, is a student there. He has family here -- including grandparents -- and noted the Cardinals were among his final three choices.

"I just had to look at the situation where I would go right in and play, and Duke seemed to be the best fit," he said. "With all my family and grandparents here, I wanted to be here. Louisville is where my heart is, and Louisville will always be one of my favorite teams to watch. Just seeing that jersey on means a lot to me.

"My dad, he's proud, and if he had wanted me to go to Louisville, then I would have ended up at Louisville."
