No UK clause

Featured Replies

Take a look at this article.

It's old but do you think based on this article that this AD would allow a UK-escape clause? Based on these quotes?

But what do you expect him to say? He wants to keep Donavan and you don't think he'll lie to do so? It's naive to think he wouldn't.

$200,000 buyout is nothing, so that's not an issue. Billy has another great class coming in down in Gainesville. If he were to come to Lexington, I certainly feel that it will take $3+ million.

We all know contracts are broken more often than not. In the espn 10 year old article posted I didn't see any quotes from Billy just an athletic director who wants to keep him. Heck Tubby a man of great character walked out with 4 years left. I think your people will be alot less credible after Billy is the next UK coach. Why in the world would you put a clause such as that in your contract anyway. He would be questioned constantly.

I posted the article to support to show people that the AD would not have included a UK clause. Then UKPat posted the contract. It wasn't to point out anything other than that.
Xtiger has disappereard...See what you did with your sources 98...

I have not gone anywhere and it looks like my reasoning on Billy D is looking better all the time is it not. I keep looking for him to say no to UK but I can't find it. Clause or no clause any contract can be broken at any time, UL football fans sure know this. He may not be coming but he is sure thinking about it which was my point in the first place. How you like me now?

If that was your point, you should have said that instead of saying there was a UK clause in his contract....

I was thinking the same thing. I went back and read all the old posts from his source, but his source kept taling about this UK clause that never existed.

Imagine that...:sssh:

IT is quit funny to read the constant "sourcing" of information.

If you took time to read my post you would know that! I guess that would be asking too much. You crack me up.
