Did not know this. His draft stock has to be slipping with this news.

I agree!

I wonder how far he will drop? If he can recover completely, some team will get a late round steal.

I think he moved to the third round on this news. Teams won't be able to resist temptation at that point, IMO, I mean we are talking about a serious gamer here.

Bad news for him, and just strengthens my opinion that Bush would have been better off to stay in school another year.

My thoughts exactly!

No way, and get hurt again?????

No way, and get hurt again?????
 OK, Nostradamus.

First of all, if he was going to get hurt again, chances are it wouldn't have been as bad as this injury. Chances are he would have been able to go at the combine and pro day. Chances are it wouldn't have been a season ending injury in the first game of the season, so he would have had all year to destroy defenses the way he destroyed Kentucky's. Chances are he would have been the first round pick he was projected at coming into September.

He could slip past the 3rd if his recovery does not go well.

:rolleyes:OK, Nostradamus.

Thanks for the sarcasm and insulting remarks...

If you're going to throw out a prediction like that (and not even temper it with a phrase like 'risk gettig hurt') you're going to get called out.

But what if he did get hurt? If he hurt the same leg, he might drop to a late 2nd day draft pick or he could have a great year and be a 1st rounder.

It's all a big crap shoot.

I don't know if it will be a steal or not. He will be playing one of the toughest positions in the league for longevity with an injury that has had to be cut twice. We will just have to see if he makes it. I hope he can have a career in the league, but his body parts are lowering his chances. He is well worth a late round pick, but IMO it is a larger role of the dice.

I assume Mr Bush has hired an agent, no?
