Is Kansas a lot like Nova and Morris could have another field day???

He should be able to do what he wants inside with Kuan (SP?) but we are outmatched at every other position.

I agree. UK hasn't been able to find a balance all season. Either offense gets stagnant and Morris touches the ball all the time or they bomb away from the inside.

Also, it seems that players go on spurts but don't consistently contribute the whole game. Crawford will be quiet for 20 minutes than score 8 straight, quiet it some more and score 8 straight again to finish the night with 16. Bradley will end with 12 points but hit 3 3's in a 3-4 minute stretch at some point.

No balance in this offense.

Basketball is a game of runs. :D

Kansas by 10, but anything can happen this time of year.

Thats what everyone said about Nova also...Never know whats going to happen...

It's gonna be a wild ride...sucks though I'm gonna miss it have a city league game:madman:

Kansas 85-69. IMO UK just cant keep up with them.

But id love to see UK win and have 2 KY teams in the sweet 16.

If the Cats can slow Kansas down and play both halfs of the game they have a shot.

With that bein said Kansas by 6

Morris has another monster game, and the Cats play somthering defense again. I realize Kansas is extremely athletic, and can shoot the basketball well, but I really think Kentucky is going to pull off the upset in this one.

Kentucky 80

Kansas 76

I keep thinking back to Kansas having big problems with Oklahoma twice late in the season. Should be a great blue print for Tubby to work with...

Why did they have problems with them? I didn't see either of those games that I remember.

Slowed them down and played very physical. Sounds familiar...

I agree GT. That being said, this is where you normally see these two teams playing in the Elite 8 or in the Final Four. Big games need to be had by Morris, Bradley, Crawford, and Meeks. Got to play great D. I just think Kansas has one or two more horses than we do. I hope I am wrong, though. Kansas 74-67. :irked:

I think we will be able to hang for a little bit but they will win.

That's about how I feel, but like I said that keeps jumping out at me. UK is better than Oklahoma and CAN do the things needed to have a chance in the final 3 minutes. But the problem I still have from my thoughts before NOVA is consistency and effort. The Sooners thing is likely way off but it's just something stuck in my brain...

Well the more I think about this game, the more I can't really think of any reasonable reason why UK would win this game. Kansas is the one team before the bracket was announced that I told me dad I didn't want to see, and well sure enough there they were. It is just a very bad matchup for UK, and well Kansas is just the better team, as much as I hate to say. And its for all those reasons why I think UK will win this game, and march on to a very deep run in the tournament...:thumb:
