McRoberts and Paulas...

Featured Replies

Paulus was a liability on defense yesterday. A step slow every play.

Obviously it's up in the air right now, but JMO, Patterson won't go to Duke if McRoberts returns. I think he comes back, therefore IMO it's down to UK and UF for Patterson.

What's the difference if Morris stays? Josh and Patrick could both be 4's on the court....just like if Morris stays.

And besides that McRoberts lost all credibility when he chose to cry at the drop of a hat in a game that he was winning. Particularly when it was a regular season game and he was a sophmore. He can average 35pts and 20 rebs from now on and I'll still see him crying on the bench.

I can buy that....he is quite soft...that's why I want another legit big man in Durham...so McRoberts can go back to playing with his front to the basket.

I would take McRoberts's and Paulus's heart and effort over Bradley's and Morris's any day of the week. These guys have had their ups and downs all year, but the effort and will to win is always there.

I really dont get this comment here, because you say McRoberts and Paulus play with heart and effort and that is why you would take them over Bradley and Morris. And while I agree with Morris, I completely DISAGREE on Bradley. Bradley in one of the few players who does play with heart and effort every game. You need to switch Bradley and put Crawford in that statement...

Taylor King - 6'7", 215 lbs. McDonald's AA

Kyle Sinlger - 6'8", 210 lbs. McDonald's AA

Nolan Smith - 6'3", 175 lbs. McDonald's AA

...and a legit chance at Patrick Patterson, with the three they have right now...they are adding one of those supremely special classes ie...Shane Battier and Co....if they get Patterson..they will cut the nets within 2-3 years.

Alot of people were saying the same thing about UKs current junior class coming out of high school. I wouldn't count my chickens before they hatch. You already know my feelings on Patterson.

Besides that there are just to many good players out there. I'm not certain that the McDonalds players are the best ones out there. Curry and Maynor yesterday are examples of players that slipped through the cracks. And as UK fans have cried about so often, so is Chris Lofton.

I'm not saying they won't be a great class. They very well maybe. Its not a sure thing though.

It would be great if it was though ;)

He'd be much more effective that way. With a solid post presence McRoberts could really cause matchup problems by moving around the perimeter and picking and choosing when to drive inside.

They showed McRoberts as only 1 of 2 players to average over 10pts,7reb,4ast,3blks. Those stats are not shabby.
