Report: Moss heading to Green Bay

Featured Replies

If this does happen, you have to think the Raiders pick Calvin Johnson with the 1st pick.....

After Russell's pro day, there is a 90% chance he'll go #1

Even if they have Brooks and Rogers? Al Davis has pulled dumber stunts

did you see Scouts (Todd McShay) review of his pro day?? He said it was the best workout that he had saw in the last 15 or 20 yrs. He's a fairly young guy so its probably the best that he has ever saw. He was 9 lbs lighter than at the combine.

the raiders will at least have a set HB crew, Porter & Curry, solid defense minus a few upgrades so I would about bet on Russell if they stay @ #1 (slim & none chance for calvin) but trading down makes sense

I hope the Lions draft Calvin Johnson!!!

I think this could be a good trade for both teams...the Raiders get rid of a malcontent (addition by subtraction), get a QB and could replace the loss of Moss by taking Calvin Johnson with the first pick.

The Packers get a big talent at WR to go with Favre...and he should be happy playing for a team that will more than likely do a better job of getting him the ball than Oakland did...and then the Pack would have a reasonable chance of landing another QB in this draft who would likely have a year or two to learn under Favre, as you'd have to think Brett would play a little longer with Moss as his #1 receiver.

That's just my thinking on this possible trade.

Come on don't call Al Davis stupid. It is not like he has drafted a fat kicker in the first round before......

:D

Thats insane... GB bashes Moss and hates on him while he was in MN. Desperate times call for desperate measures.

Rogers isn't the answer in GB. I have thought he was overrated ever since he came out of college. Apparently alot of other teams agree with me since he fell so far in the draft. Moss still has alot left in him and would be great for Favre. This would be a great trade for the Packers if they can make it happen.

Calvin Johnson and Russell may be some of the greatest pure talents in recent memory. The problem is that you could (possibly) put Steve Young and Jerry Rice on that team and it wouln't matter. The line is HORRIBLE! Trade down and get Thomas!

We have seen NOTHING out of Rogers. He is being tutored by one of the best QB's of all time. I think he will do fine somewhere when he gets a chance.

Why would they risk going after Moss and take on a huge contract? It's time to overhaul and get young.

Moss to GB = Retirement/going away present for Favre. Assuming Favre is coming back right?

What a going away present!:dancingpa

Yeah, get a receiver with declining skills that will take up a ton of cap room, trade your suppossed QB of the future, basically wasting a 1st round pick. Not to mention, Moss has admitted that he only plays hard when he wants to, which can't be good in the locker room. They'd be better served to do what is best for the franchise and stop catering to Favre.

Favre already said he's coming back weeks ago...where were you?
