I have heard that assistant coach Hollingsworth is interested.

Coach Barry resigned Tuesday.

I am surprised to hear that! I hope Carroll County takes advantage of this to get their program on track.

I don't know much, okay, I don't know anything about this but I wish them the best of luck in their search.

Coach Weedman and the other assistant coaches are taking over the spring practices and conditioning. After that, they are opening the job up to taking applications. I don't know if there is a front runner for the job or not.

 

I also do believe that we need to get some new blood in here. A new set of eyes is the number one thing this program needs.

Doug Barry is a good man. Is he going to still be working for the school district?

This would be a great opportunity for a young assistant to get there feet wet in a head coach position. You will need to bring fire and passion and a whole lot of discipline to the table. There is enough talent to be competitive and build a program.

Is there a deadline or time frame for hiring a Coach? I saw spring practice and it looked like we had a good bunch of kids. I just do not want any of them to lose interest because we do not have a coach.

The school must officially post the job for 30 days before they can hire.
