March 11, 200719 yr These guys are cracking me up: Will they put more time on the clock if it didn't start on time? How would that make sense? If it doesn't start on time, that means there is LESS time than it showed when he let go of the ball. And I don't think there were 1.2 seconds between the time the clock started and when it should have.
March 11, 200719 yr Author I still think he got it off in enough time, even if they didn't start the clock. That's not the question. It would be time added because the ball went through right at 0.00...
March 11, 200719 yr Maybe .1 or about the amount of time that would require divine intervention to get a tip in for Akron. Whether the clock started on time is moot. All it means is that there should have been less than 1.2 seconds left when he launched, but probably not zero. Which definitely means it had 0:00 on the clock when the ball went through. How is this announcer doesn't get that?
March 11, 200719 yr That's not the question. It would be time added because the ball went through right at 0.00... Oh, gotcha.
