I'm not for Tubby or anything but I'm getting tired of seeing all these different threads with the same thing in them, it's quite annoying and just silly. If you don't like Tubby and want him fired then post about it in one of the other million threads that discuss it, no sense in making a new thread to repeat the same things over and over!

Maybe the same reason Rick Pitino left, I believe his exact words was " I WOULDNE LEAVE KY FOR NO AMOUNT OF $$$$$ IN THE WORLD" 36 hours later, He had his comb, brush and hair gel and off he was gone

 

 

Florida has the money to keep him. And all things being equal (speaking about money), Flordia is a better job. He has it made there, they love him. Fans were not wanting him fired when he lost 3 of 4 and you you know they would here...

I never once said I hated Tubby. I can't understand for the life of me when someone states the obvious about KY basketball they're automatically dissing Tubby. UK basketball is more than just Tubby isn't it. I will say that KY basketball is no fun at all to a lot of people right now. If a coaching change will negate that than I'd be all for it.

I don't think anyone is happy about this year and last year.Its just crazy that some people want a new coach when we have one of the best coaches in the country!

I would like to add if he is FIRED I don't think it will ever recover.They would have to hire a African American coach to salvage anything.Just My opinion!

I hate to tell you this but we will have the entire country Playing the race card against us! When was the last time Tubbys record was under 500? Isn't his wining percentage well above .700%? Has Tubby had a season under 20 wins? Has Tubby taken the cats to the NIT?

And this is the exact reason Big Time colleges do not hire black head coaches. Its not that they are not qualified because there are many, especially football, but if one is fired all heck breaks lose.

I honestly feel if Tubster was white, he would have been gone last year and not just at UK. If he had done to Duke, NC, UCLA, Kansas, Arizona and maybe one or two others, he would have been fired.

But if you look at the overall body of work the last 10 years, it is comparable or better than the last 10 years at those schools.

So it looks like Duke may be a 8 seed this year.I haven't heard any Rumors about Coach K getting fired. Arizona looking like a 9 seed.No rumors of Lute Olson getting fired. Last I looked they are both white.

If you ask me, I really feel like there is a total lack of effort from the top to the bottom. That starts with Tubby and ends with the players. It just really seems like noone (maybe except for Meeks) is willing to put in the extra effort. That upsets me.
