I think that Russell's defense is just too much.

After losing to RH in the semi-finals, East Carter coach Hager Easterling predicts Russell. That must mean he didn't think he could beat Russell, either.

Russell's defense may be able to stop Terry, and they may be able to shut down Queen, but I don't think they can stop both of them. Should be a good game and I am looking forward to it.

I think it will most definitely be a close game. As much as I hate to say it, it may come down to who is wearing the stripped shirts tomorrow. If they call it close then it favors Russell because of their depth on the bench, but if they are allowed to play, then it will make it harder to overcome Rose Hill's Terry and Queen. If one of Russell's guards hits for 6 to 10 then Russell should win, But after seeing the box score of the RH / EC game, if they can get 8 to 10 from Britt and 8 from Dundon then Rose Hill may be making a return trip to BG. So good luck to both teams. Unlike what the paper was touting the Russell / Rowan as the marquee match-up, I think this one will be the best.

Should be a great game. The Russell inside game against the running Lady Royals. I agree with one of the earlier posts. If the game is called tight then that plays to the Lady Devils but if the refs let them play and calls it loose then Rose Hill will be tough to stop. I am cheering for the Lady Royals, would love to see them make another trip to the state tournament.

Well after a long season the champion will be crowned tonight. The Lady Royals from Rose Hill will try to defend their championship against the Lady Devils from Russell. As much as I would love to see the Lady Royals repeat, I believe Coach Kidwell and his Lady Devils are just too much for them this year. I hope that I am proven wrong.
