I was there for most of the game tonight. I was surprised that SK let the dragons stay close to them. Hats off to the South Oldham team, they gave it all they had and just came up short tonight.

 

All in all, though, this is the matchup for the semi finals that the Gallatin fans have been wanting to see. Glad to see that it will happen on a neutral floor with everything at stake. Let it begin....:thumb:

SK was very sluggish tonite, way off there game. South played them very well. Hats off to there hustle to keep this one close. Can't wait till Monday.#10 for South is a very scrappy ball player.

Hate to hear they were sluggish, this isn't any time to overlook teams, do that and you will once again miss the big dance.

They were sluggish indeed. Hurd didnt show much intensity again tonight. He had a decent game but should have dominated more. Elbert played good in spurts and so did Hester. I think they both finished with 15 a piece. Kohrs came off the bench ( which I dont understand ) and played his heart out as usual. Love watching this kid play.

Kohrs just gives it his all every night.

I actually think they seemed sluggish because they were being slugged on.

 

I have a feeling that nobody knows how banged up Hurd is. Most of the time when he touched the ball, he had two or three people hanging on him. The South Oldham kids weren't tall but they were sure big.

 

I agree that using Kohrs probably wasn't in the original game plan. He wasn't used much in the first half but Steiner had no choice in the second the way he was playing. Kohrs seemed to be in a lot of pain when he stepped up to the line for his and-one free throw. Let's hope 3 more days off get him that much more ready.

Good post, I agree. I hope Hurd can play more aggressive. Justin sure was a sparkplug when he was sent in.I never seen a team so beat up in one season.
