Walton-Verona/Oldham County updates?

Featured Replies

Anyone know where it stands right now?

Anyone? The score is not listed.

Oldham scored the last 5 ponts to win 55-50, I believe. The Bearcats missed a 3 with around 6 seconds left and Oldham scored at the buzzer for the final margin.

Walton must have played inspired ball. I wonder what it would have been like with Daugherty.

I was thinking the same thing throughout the game. I don't know that they would have won with him there but it sure wouldn't have hurt. They played a great game just came up short on the scoreboard.

Sounds like a heck of a game. Walton played Oldham really tough a couple years back in the first round of the region, sounds like they did it again tonight as well. I see Anderson beat Henry 52-51 earlier in the night, so it looks like it will be an OC-Anderson semifinal.

I guess this is why they play the games, WV doesn't have their best player, and they take one of the many regional favorites to the wire.

Congratulations to the Bearcats. Playing through what has to have been a huge weight on their shoulders with the late news on Daugherty. Coach Bennett does a great job there with the Bearcats.
