March 8, 200719 yr ^Who shoud care about the Shaq/Kobe fallout ? I would imagine any Laker fan that saw their 3 time defending championship team dismantled would care. Kobe is the one that came out looking like the jerk in this. Particularly when Shaq won a championship without him last year.
March 8, 200719 yr Ok, I just watched the video. I think it was a foul, I think it was intentional, but I don't know that it warranted a suspension. It's the second time this season he's intentionally elbowed someone in the face...it does warrant a suspension.

Particularly when Shaq won a championship without him last year. And whoever read the book by Phil Jackson The Last Season He talks about his problems with Kobe and incidents between the two. The book is pretty anti-Kobe.

The problem is that he hits them across the face and continues his follow through even after he makes contact. That makes it a foul and since it is directed at the face it is perceived as a flagrant one. Perhaps he should try letting up once he feels contact. Either way it is clear that he must either stop doing it or sit out a game each time. Personally, I could care less. Kobe ranks right up there with Terrell Owens, Barry Bonds, Randy Moss and Michael Vick as some of the most self-centered, unlikeable athletes today. The rest of the crew has zero championships, Kobe can thank Phil and Shaq for his.
