I have known Joe since our High School days and he always seemed to be prepared. This game will be no different. He and his team will be prepared to pull off an upset.

Lewis will be a worthy opponent but the Tomcats prevail in this one.

Having just watched my Red Devils get by this scrappy Lewis team, I was impressed with their (Lewis) defense. They beat Russell for 3 of the 4 quarters played and went after loose balls and hustled as well as any team I've watched this year. If not for a "hungry" Gill and their best quarter of the year, Russell get's beat. I see an over-confident Ashland making this one way to close and if their perimeter shot is off they go down! If Ashland can hit a third of their 3's, they win in a nail biter.

Seems like the last time Ashland/Lewis played in the regional tourney was in the semifinals in 2004 and it went into double overtime with Ashland winning. Im not sayin the games gonna be that good this year but its still on the Lewis Co. players minds and they want revenge. Thomas was an 8th grader then so he definately has some experience and it will take his and McDavids leadership to help them win. Ashland 65-Lewis 58
