Thank you...gonna be tough with GT's wedding and all.
This is the worst explanation ever. It is clearly obvious that you didn't watch the replays...Henderson played his heart out today, and was playing hard until he got ejected. I would be willing to bet that he has already apologized for the foul.
If he watched the game, It's obvious he watched the replays. They only showed it 20 times. I think everyone is just interpreting the replays different than you. Or you are interpreting the replays different from them.

Good thing there won't be much BGP presence at the wedding itself. The reception will be a doosie...

^ Maybe...I know it was a hard, hard foul...but that doesn't mean he purposely tried to elbow another player. That's bush league and Duke has NEVER (except Laettner :sssh:) represented thuggery.

Maybe Laettner came into practice as of late and showed them a thing or two.

After watching the replay for about the 40th time I think it was the proper call. I don't think Henderson intended to smash Hansbrough in the face but he came flying in there with the intention of delivering a hard shot and was not concerned with whether he got any of the ball or not. By definition of the rule he got what he deserved. Perhaps Roy Williams and Coach K are as much to blame as anyone for having players who had played that hard in a very hotly contested game still in there after it was decided. That said it was shocking at how much more athletic UNC is than Duke. I know that Duke is comprised of Freshmen and Sophmores but at this point in the season that can no longer be an excuse. The sophmores have played in 60 games, they are veterans and the freshman have een through a full slate of ACC games. Perhaps these 2 classes aren't quite as good as they were touted.

It wasn't a cheapshot... and he shouldn't have been suspended for the next game.

Duke plays NC State, if they win that, they play Virginia...not all that bad.

I agree, but once the refs made the ejection decision, there's nothing more that can be done, I think.

When you have guys like Scheyer, McRoberts, and Paulus on your team, you are going to have a tough time matching up with athletic teams. Duke has lots of young talent, they just don't match up well with teams like UNC, Maryland, Kansas, Florida, etc.
