Since I am a Cov Cath. Cov Cath always has a hard part of the Region Tournment.

The regionals are at Holmes. Do not know the dates. And Colonel Nation if Cov Cath played Highlands wouldn't Holmes have to play NCC?

The Ninth Region is indeed playing at Holmes this year and the dates I believe are Wednesday/Thursday March 7th/8th and Monday March 12th and Tuesday March 13th....

 

Girls Ninth Region is at Conner and the dates and times of those games are Monday/Tuesday March 5th/6th Friday March 9th and Saturday March 10th.

 

Remember this year the Girls Sweet Sixteen is being played first from March 14th through March 17th at Diddle Arena in Bowling Green, Ky. with the boys playing the following week....

Yes! Winners can't meet the losers from their District until the finals, meaning if CovCath is in the upper bracket Holmes has to play in the lower bracket, but Holmes can play anyone of the two winners in the lower bracket they don't have to play Dixie, if Lloyd draws CovCath...

 

For example only:

 

CovCath vs. Lloyd

St. Henry vs. Highlands

 

NCC vs. Holmes

Dixie vs. Conner

 

Notice winners are seeded and then the losers draw with the understanding Holmes/Conner couldn't play in the upper bracket with CovCath nor St. Henry. Of couse that would leave Holmes/Conner playing either NCC or Dixie... Understand.

 

You will notice that the both the 35th and 36th have the same teams in both the girls and boys Region: CovCath/NDA/Holmes, NCC/Highlands and the 34th has Dixie being both also....and the 33rd has Conner....

 

Only 34th with Lloyd/Boys Ludlow/Girls 33rd with Boone County/Girls and St. Henry/Boys are different...
