Cov. Cath. Vs. Holmes

Featured Replies

I really don't care who wins this one. I believe that we, as fans, are in a win win situation in this one.

I go to every state tournament. I haven't missed a game since 1991. I'd love to see the talent of Holmes down there, and I'd love to see the cheering section of Catholic down there. They're the one private school I root for if they make it state. How many teams actually have practice for their cheering section?

I really don't see how these 2 don't meet again in the regional final unless Newport Catholic can knock one of them off. If that happens, it's still an upset.

Not sure if this was posted but.......

It has been a very tough year for Billy who was (as we all were) looking forward to his Senior basketball season. Thru all of this Billy has been seated on the bench cheering on his fellow players at each game.

CovCath Senor Billy Schult came home yesterday and will be in home therapy for 4 weeks. Hopefully he will be back in school next week.

As many know, Billy had surgery several weeks ago to repair a torn ACL and miniscus. Ever since then he has been running a fever. The doctors extracted fluid from the knee and found that there is an infection. Surgery was scheduled to clean out the infection-Billy could be on antibiotics a few days and possibly weeks. He will have to remain in the hospital a few days as well.

Hopefully Billy you can make it to watch the game tonight against Holmes, or at least the Region... Good luck my young friend.....

I'd love to see the cheering section of Catholic down there.

The players win it so that the student section can go. If Rupp didn't allow student sections, the players would have no incentive to win region.

Zero. CovCath's student section does not practice.

Come on now. CCH is an unselfish team, but not THAT unselfish. :D

I'll say CCH by 4 tonight, but the Dogs win the the region and play in Rupp.

100% believable scenario.

Does either team hold anything back tonight hoping to spring it at regionals?

They shouldn't.

This game is tonight at 7:00?

Is it at CCH?
