Heck with good luck at Middle, good luck with some post season success while you still wear the Royal blue!!!!

Of course, then, good luck at Middle!!:thumb:

I'm with SpinDoc on this! This team seems to have found a groove and is playing very well. Make us travel to watch you finish out this year!

Of course, Emily will continue to sport royal blue as she moves on the the Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders.

When can I get tickets?

Great worker, great player, greatly deserves every accolade she receives.

Thanks, my friend, but can you tell me what a kid has to do to get a four-picture spread in the ADI?!!:

Im still waiting to see it.

Maybe if she gets a job at a local sporting goods store.

Or maybe a local "don't pay retail" home furnishings and appliances store!

Or if she just went to another school.:sssh:

 I can't believe you guys went there! But I like it! What about it Himmelfarb, willing to give up any furniture for cheap? And i'm thinking maybe four years, same as cash? Let us know.

Jonathan VanHoose deserved the coverage and so does Emily Queen.

But one would think that with all Emily has done, leading rebounder, male or female in region history and leading female score in region history, that she would at least rate as much coverage as anyone else. If someone can get front page coverage for becoming the leading scorer in their schools history then if someone becomes the leading scorer in 16th region history it should rate just as much coverage, but maybe that is just me.

I agree that Queen is more than deserving of any local or state press that is given to her.

Are you implying that she should have signed with Georgetown?

Whoa...I've not checked this thread for several days and didn't think my friendly jab at ShooterX3 would cause such a fuss. Let me be very clear that we are big fans of Jonathan and were pleased to see the way both his school and the ADI recognized his accomplishments. Would we like to have seen the ADI at the RH vs Elliott game when Emily broke the record? Certainly...but I'm hoping it was a failure to properly communicate with them on our part and not an editorial decision on their part. Hey, there's always a chance that POY honors may come her way this year, and then...well, we'll just have to wait and see.

Could someone post a top 10-15 of all-time region scorers?

Are you implying that she should have signed with Georgetown?

What in the blue heck are you talking about? What was there in my quote that said she should have signed anywhere at all? I have re-read my post and still can't understand what you are talking about. If it is something obvious then please fill me in, Lord knows the last thing I want to do is misunderstand one of your thought provoking posts.

I think Scooter was siding with you DINO, that if she was at another school then she would have gotten the publicity. You and Scooter need to have a male bonding moment...or maybe not.
