As much as I would love to have Gway in right now. Biggs is getting some very meaningful reps and gaining confidence. He's having a heck of a game.

But I'm most surprised by the defense. If you would've told me that the Devils would shut out the Eagles in the first half I wouldn't have believed it. Max Johnson is seeing a pass rush that he's yet to see all season.

O has to keep up with the intensity. The Eagles can score in a hurry if you give them just a little breathing room.

@TimeWillTell how did you feel about the defense last night? One of O's better performances of the year imo. The offense is kind of hard to tell. Biggs stepped up in a big way dropping bombs on Apollo all night. But I'm still hesitant on our offense because Apollo has let up so many points all season.

Even while banged up the Devils have maintained a running clock separation of the better teams in the district so far. Which is good news as we don't have to rush Gway back to the field too early.

Our defense kept Max Johnson moving a lot. He can make plays on his feet but I felt like we were just as fast as him. Apollo got in the red zone 4 times I believe. I'll have to go watch the replay , they still have a very good offense. I've always said this, Rash Stadium is a hard place for teams to come in and win.

If Catholic played us at Rash Stadium it wouldn't have been 7-35.

I think getting everyone back but Ganaway was huge for us. Biggs has played 2 great weeks so far.

@Devils Fan one thing we need to change now and or it's going to be a huge problem in the playoffs when we don't have local boys calling our game is the TD celebrations and taunting we got called for last night. It's really embarrassing. I really don't want us losing in the 3rd or 4th round when the game is close.

Overall, we beat the hell out a good team last night, but the celebrations are a little over dramatic imo. If our local referees are calling it then it's going to get called later in the playoffs.
