All the talk about lopsided scores does scare me.

Trinity is the better team, but I do remember some wild things happening in this series over the years.

And the regular-season game always tends to be closer than expected

By the way, I was talking to a St. X friend of mine as we sat at the luncheon yesterday.

He said it seems like this run Trinity has been on has just sucked the life out of the rivalry. I do agree.

We were trying to figure out the run, and then he opened the program at our seat, and there was the list of all the results

St. X beat Trinity in the state title game in 2009

And since then, Trinity has won 21 and St. X 5

The crazy thing about those 21 wins by T - St. X scored 10 or fewer points 14 times.

Not going to complain. Just wild! And all the talk about the game attendance, I think that lopsidedness over the last 16 years has something to do with it.
