St. X frosh play Elder on 9/19. I imagine they will be bring A team. If I'm Highlands, I would stipulate play A team or we aren't playing. Waste of Highlands time.

FWIW, the Elder/LaSalle game tomorrow was not on the calendar when the HHS game was scheduled. HHS was supposed to play Elder tomorrow.

Highlands JV plays St. X JV on Saturday. Quite a few of these Freshman Birds will be playing that game. Should be a tough one.

Perhaps Elder should stipulate that Highlands Varsity bring their "A" game this year so it isn't a thumping again like last year and not a "waste" of their time. I get that it is disappointing that you didn't get their A team, but come on, they are just trying to give kids an opportunity to play and they are obviously going to save their talent when they play a conference foe the next day.

I would say what happened yesterday is what happened yesterday. Lots of experience and insight was gained by both teams/schools. However, if I am Highlands, from now on it is either your best or no thank you.

FWIW, Elder's "A" Team beat LaSalle yesterday 28-12.
