Fryman with a kickoff return for a TD, 6-0 Beechwood.

Someone please find video of this kickoff return. Absolutely incredible.

Dixie kept it respectable in the first half. They just need to find some offense.

How long is the rope for the coaching staff at Dixie?

Dixie has CovCath next week, that will surely be another running clock. After that the Colonels have a bunch of games they may win and definitely will compete in.

I honestly don't know. I have nothing but respect for those guys based on my interactions. They're in a tough spot right now with injuries and personnel. They're playing a lot of sophomores. They're trying to figure out the QB position. It was a 4 man competition that has been moved to 2 due to injuries. Would 1 of those 2 been a better fit with this offense, I don't know. The 2 that are playing are battling, but they have completely different styles and skill sets.

I think offensively they're shooting themselves in the foot with the way they call their plays in. The other teams are picking it up and know what's coming. They need to disguise them better. They could also use a little more diversity in their plays, but maybe they're keeping it simple in these non-district games knowing they have a tough schedule to start the season and a new qb to break in.
