The announcer at the game I went to said Walton was winning 33-0 earlier and I was surprised. I thought this would have been a closer game.

33-0 final. Walton moves to 1-1 on the year.

Congratulations to Coach Pence and staff! That has to feel pretty nice, being a Ludlow Alum!

Lots of ties between Ludlow and Walton-Verona in this one. As you mentioned Coach Pence and a few staff members are Ludlow Alums. While Coach McMillen at Ludlow started the WV football program, and then coach Barth is an assistant at Ludlow now. Obviously had a great run at WV and won many district titles and also one regional championship. So a lot of connections between the two program were on the field tonight. Which I know both teams obviously wanted to win. However, I am sure now that the game is over both teams will be rooting for each other to have great success.
