The Flyers go into this off their first regular season loss in I think the last 3 seasons?? Someone correct that if it's wrong. Unfamiliar territory for the Flyer faithful. QB Knox Barrett threw for 284, but they had zero answer for the run game of Scott County as they scored every drive they touched the ball and ran away with it by a score of 55-24.

Bullitt East is also entering this one 0-1 with a loss to Bowling Green by a score of 34-7. I didn't get to catch any of their game, but they had a lot of good looking kids, and I believe there's an Egan at the helm leading the way.

Someone's got to get their first win Friday night. Who will it be?

Franklin bounces back with an ugly win.

I believe 7 of our guys on the field are 15. Looking forward to the growth of this team. Thank goodness no Timmy Emongo this week. That kid is special not too many kids can do what he does. It may not be the start to the season one would hope for. But I trust Coach James and the rest of the coaching staff and these players to keep working and improving. Folks better get their punches in why they can!!!! It was a good game last year and I expect a tough one again this week. let's Go Flyers!!!

For Bullitt East, if they clean up the special teams & emphasize the inside zone running game on offense, I like their chances to bounce back.

The game for the Chargers was not all bad on Sat. Actually they did a lot of things well but not consistently. Bowling Green has enough good players to make you pay for your mistakes, which they did. Something I was worried about was if the Chargers would answer BG's physicality and I feel like for the most part they did. Frankfort is always well coached and physical so they will need to do that again to win this week. We shall see, but I like the Chargers chances.
