Pikeville welcomes in 3A Power Christian Academy of Louisville. Pikeville is looking to shock all of Kentucky and Slay the Giant. Christian Academy of Louisville won the matchup last year 45-7. Do the Panthers have a chance at Hambley? Does Christian Academy pick back up where they left off from its last scrimmage?

I don't know anything about Pikeville but knowing how good CAL will be this year, I expect 45-7 or worse.

If CAL shows up & plays their game, this one won’t be close. However, if they let Pikeville hang around & Pikeville gets a couple of calls go their way, this one could be interesting. Pikeville will be improved this year & a real contender for the 1A title, but I’ll take the Centurions by 4 TDS in this one.

Does anyone know if Mountain Top TV is going to broadcast the Pikeville/CAL game?

Pikeville’s only chance is to force 2 or 3 CAL turnovers and move the chains and run clock when they have the ball. Otherwise, CAL has too much offensive firepower.

CAL looks superior at the line of scrimmage and they have the athletes to stretch Pikeville paper thin.

Pikeville should be better this year than last, but the result this week will be similar to last season.

I look for a running clock at some point, but it's hard for me predict one in the first half. My respect for Pikeville runs deep.
