CAL is head and shoulders above a lot of teams in Ky. Franklin Co lost some experience and explosive playmakers. The talent is there but they are young. Scott County has several playmakers that can im

Freeman Kelly Dronography with a wonderful picture!

  • Scott Co dominated, scoring on every offensive possession tonight. Timmy Emongo had a statement game in his bid for Mr Football with 9 rushes for 242 yds (that’s just shy of 27 yards per carry!) 4

I'm definitely, definitely going to keep an eye on this game. Granted, I haven't followed at all what talent was or wasn't lost to graduation at Franklin County this past may, but I was pretty surprised when I found out Franklin County was unable to score on CAL at all in their scrimmage, and I was frankly shocked seeing that CAL had hung 42 points on the Flyers' defense in two quarters.

I know a lot of coaches handle scrimmages very differently from actual game-play, so for all I know Coach James may not have played a single starter in their regular positions for that scrimmage, but even so.....it sounds like they've got a lot of kinks to get ironed out before the 2026 Battle of Elkhorn Creek.

That would certainly be an interesting strategy a week before the season starts.

The original of this pic sits in the concession stand at Scott Co. next to the cotton candy lol. Check it out if you come to the game tomorrow. Rumor has it that the pic was donated by SC assistant coach (formerly Harrison Co head coach including when Coach McKee was in high school) - Ray Graham. The kids used AI to dress this version up a bit. Gotta love it

Beat Franklin on 3!!!

For sure. I will probably not watch GC until tomorrow, but will update on SC/Franklin and a few for GC/GRC as well.
