Saturday, August 8, Noon, at Trinity’s Marshall Stadium, Free admission.

This is always a valuable scrimmage as each team typically plays late into the post season in the large school division of Kentucky and Ohio.

Looking like Carney/Blue/Ramirez to start at the ones in a hybrid 3-3-5 defense that will look to feature Vize, EBC, Howze, LA and Burrice all over the field to make up for the lack of experience at L

Rocks looked terrific today against a high quality opponent. The best they've looked in a scrimmage since the 2010 team played at Highlands I'd say. The offense was wide open and Zane was terrific on

Thanks for posting @TH58 and do you know if there will be video of the scrimmage?

Last season they lost to Middletown in the Ohio state playoffs round of 16. Not sure of their prospects for 2026.

I'm pretty excited. This will be my first time getting to see Springfield. I've just not had the opportunity to make this scrimmage the last few years. I'm even more stoked that high school football is back.

We expect a full report in this thread @NLTanker1.

Springfield always has a fast and physical defense. In 2025 they allowed only 38 total points in 7 league games. And their league has good football teams - Centerville, Wayne, Fairmont, Springboro, etc.

I believe the Trinity schedule says 11:30am rather than noon posted on NFHS.

Any more word on the Trinity defensive front regarding the injuries?
