Sack by S, the defender split a double team and made the play. 25 seconds left in the half. Timeout.

T punted and S ended up turning the punt over so T has the ball on the 10 with six seconds left.

Touchdown Trinity! Slant pass again and once again Zane is right on target and playing at an elite, first team all state level today.

Trinity 42 Springfield (OH) 14

Halftime.

I doubt Springfield gives up 42 points in a half again this year.

The teams are warming up for whatever the second half will consist of.

Must be hot, everyone is moving slow on the field between plays.

Can confirm. It was miserable out there. Can’t imagine what it felt like on the turf in pads

You know, with the change in how we determine the heat index it is "never" too hot to play anymore. However, it looks as if that might be where we are at right now, the coaches and refs are on the field all chit chatting with each other and we don't have any players that I see but it is a closeup.

Plus it has been two hours. I may want to play some JV football but I am not sure I would want to push the varsities again.

It appears we have paramedics taking someone away on a stretcher. Just speculating but I assume it is heat related but again that is speculation. I assume that is the reason for the delay.

The players are walking back out onto the field. This is a long, long scrimmage in the heat.

We have a final due to heat after a half of football:

Trinity 42 Springfield (OH) 14

Add the name Evan Myers Smith to the stable of A+ wide receivers at Trinity. Zane seemed to have good connection with him today.

I wouldn’t hesitate to say this is the most loaded receiver ROOM I’ve ever seen at Trinity. Every single guy is an absolute weapon and the defense just has to pick their poison. Zane doesn’t even need to think about who he’s throwing to. If they’re open, a play is being made

Agree.
