This should be a great game in the 11th region semifinals both teams top 10 in the state and sad one of these teams season will be over on Saturday evening. They have met 2 times this season the first time at the King of the Bluegrass in December in which the Indians won by 11 and again in late January in Richmond which was also won by Central only by 3. This should be a good one. It tips at 4:00pm after the first semi between reigning 11th region champ Great Crossing as they take on Lexington Catholic at 2:00pm.

Unfortunately one of the Madison Central mainstays Luke Asher went down with an injury late in the first quarter and did not return.  Nothing official yet but it did not look good.  That would be a big loss if he is out for the Douglass game.

I agree it did not look good. I hope it is not as bad as it looked. I would like to see both teams at full strength.

Difficult to beat someone 3x in one season.

True we did beat Station 3 times this year. If Douglass shoots over 40% from the floor and shoot 70% from the line I think they win. There have not been many games this year where they have shot 70% or better from the line but from this point on if you want to advance you have to 1) take care of the ball. 2) rebound the basketball. 3) make you FT's.

Indeed! The charity stripe always worries me with the Broncos.

Madison Central can not win with Luke Asher on the sidelines.

I’m at the 11th region tournament today.  I’m sad to say talking to folks from Madison Central and was told that Asher’s injury was a knee injury. Sad.

Fieldhaus just got “T’s” up for Central.

Coach or player?

Too close for comfort. All those early fouls on Feldhaus gave Central way too many easy points. I'm worried for the 4th quarter.
