The Cats (17-9) (8-5) travel to Auburn to take on the Tigers (14-11) (5-7) in this SEC battle.  The Tigers play at Miss. State tomorrow night before this one. The game is scheduled to be on ESPN with another late tip at 8:30pm. Go Cats!!

Cats and Tigers are tied at 11 at the first media timeout. I had not realized that Auburn has lost 5 straight.

Auburn so far in almost 8 minutes of game time has yet to be called for a foul.

Timeout Kentucky we are just out muscled/hustled! Auburn looks to be the more desperate team right now and I hope I am wrong but it looks like we are heading to yet another double digit first half deficit.

Cats close out the half on a 7-0 run and lead 39-35 at the half. I like the way they turned it around when things started to go south earlier in the half. We need to come out and take care of business in the 2nd half and get a much needed road win.

Cats have started off well outscoring Auburn 7-2 to start the half and led 46-37 timeout Auburn with 17:48 to play.

Of course, since my last two post the Cats have now given up a 7-0 run by Auburn to cut the lead to 2 at 46-44 with 14:20 to play.
