February 12, 200719 yr A shooter shoots, you can't stop him from chucking. If he has a good feeling about it then you have to have confidence in him. I think that is problem number 1!! We have a bunch of shooters and 0 makers!! I dont think Perry should ever be allowed to shoot the 3 ball.

In the final minute and down almost 10..you HAVE to shoot the 3 regardless. But we didn't have to launch so many toward the last quarter of the game. Morris was playing very good and drawing fouls while STOPPING the clock and extending the game and coaching opportunities.

Shoot layups instead of 3's you've been bricking all night long and you aren't even in that situation. That's my point! I love the three ball and even better when somebody like Lofton is shooting it. At some point when your local middle school team is shooting the ball better than you then you have to get higher percentage shots. The icing on the cake for us not attacking more is that we had all the potential in the world to knock some of their best players out of the game early that were in foul trouble if we had gone at them. Instead we kept building that nice BRICK house!

If they had a guy on the team like Chris Lofton then they wouldn't have shot 3 of 22 from the 3 point line! They don't have that guy so quit forcing it and go after the guys that are in serious foul trouble! They have two choices... 1. Foul you and watch the rest of the game from the bench! 2. Play soft defense becasue they can't foul you! I just don't see how continously throwing up bricks makes since to anybody with the situtation that was at hand! They didn't shoot layups because they were too busy camping at the 3 point line!
