CAL sinks a free throw with one second left to win game. St. X squandered a 17 pt lead. Hats off to CAL for pulling the upset.

There’s a lot of young talent on CAL’s roster.  They do have 5 seniors (2 don’t play much), but the rest of the varsity roster consists of 8 sophomores & 2 8th graders.

I watched the game online. For St X to have the athletes they have I am amazed by how much they stand around on offense. If there were constant movement and all five guys were attacking downhill they would be hard to guard. Josh L goes multiple possessions without even touching the ball.

St. X was up 9 at end of 3Q. Bad 4th quarter for them.
