It is being announced that just after 1 year and 1 day has been traded to the Washington Wizards.

    That closes the book on an impossibly stupid trade.  Fans and observers are often wrong on trades, but this was one where pretty much everyone was universally correct, that trading for AD in and of itself was stupid, and of course trading Doncic, indefensible.  

    Davis played 29 games for the Mavericks.  In a YEAR.

    Why do teams keep trading for these retread head cases?

    Davis isn't a head case, but he's without a doubt one of the most unreliable marquee players in the NBA.

    He is this generations Sam Bowie.  Undeniable potential, but can never be healthy for a full season.
