Archbishop Moeller Crusaders ⚔️

?️ “Mighty Moe” entered last season with the high expectations you associate with one of Ohio's brand name institutions. The Crusaders were state runner-up from the previous season and returned 2024's Mr. Football, Matt Ponatoski.

Moeller never reached the heights we anticipated, settling for an 8-4 record against the gauntlet of Division I football in the Buckeye State. 

Ponatoski departs for Lexington after a squeaky clean 84/4 touchdown to interception ratio over the last two seasons. 

Per usual, the cupboard isn't bare for Moe.

Goliath bookend tackles Kalel Johnson (6’7”/285) and Patrick O'Brien (6’6”/275) highlight the returning talent. Johnson is predicted to land at Ohio State, while O'Brien holds offers from UK, Minnesota, Pitt, WVU, and VA Tech.

They'll open holes for Britton “Juice” Glover-Brown, a promising ball carrier who averaged 6.6 yards per carry in spot duty as a freshman. Reggie Watson was Ponatoski's favorite target, leading the Crusaders in receiving.

Second leading tackler Andrew Stofko anchors the defense from his middle linebacker position. Marino Middleton and Paxton Dodsworth return to lead the secondary after picking off two passes each last year.

Moeller travels to St. Matthews this coming season after hosting Trinity last year. The Crusaders owned the second half to rally from a two touchdown deficit to edge the Rocks that night, 24-21.

Where is Mighty Moe playing their "Home" games this year? Mount Saint Joe? It's too bad they can't have their own stadium. No open space in Miamiville?

Moeller will have their hands full the first game against Princeton. They at least 12 D1 athletes. Princeton might have the best defense around.

Princeton is going to hammer Moeller! They are like an all star team with all the D1 kids they. Former Ryle linebacker Wynn is playing for them as well.

Same! And other Moeller games at Nippert too.

That is not nearly enough tickets sold to justify having the game at Paycor. I would say 20K minimum or don't do it.
