LB crew of Ryle’s Savage, X’s Busch, and Owensboro’s Ashley - wow - that’s a monster LB core.

Don’t know any of the other DBs but I would love to see how Allen Evans (Trinity) stacked up against them. Evans holds P4 offers currently and is ranked very higher by Rivals.

No. CAL had two on first team O. 

I seriously hate the way these teams are compiled...Coaches are lazy and just don't care about voting for the actual best guy at the position any more...With all the film that's available, there is no excuse.

Thompson/Frost/Carney all should have garnered first team looks...This is maybe the best DL in Trinity history and the third best kid made it because he has a UK offer...Perhaps coaches in this state should not be allowed to vote for linemen on either side of the ball unless they have coached the position?

And don't get me started on Evans/Howze/EBC in the secondary...

All 4 first teamers have D1 offers. Being an Owensboro fan I know Edge from Apollo committed to Murray State. He’s a hitter. Probably big enough to play LB or FB for them. He played QB when the Johnson kid got injured a couple times. 
 

York from South Warren was impressive in our scrimmage early in the year. He could do allot on offense. 
 

Hobbs played against us 2 years ago when he was at CAL. I believe. Phenomenal athlete. 
Played WR too. 

Don’t know much about Dantzler but I believe he was coach’s son like Edge so I’m sure he was smart and a great player being from Lou Central.

That's great, but do it against a team with 6 or 7 D-1s like Cincy X or Moeller or Carmel...Does strength of schedule count for nothing? I mean, we gave up 55.2 rushing yards PER GAME against those guys and the rest of 6-A KY!!!! The front 4 had 29 sacks and 21.5 TFL playing about a half a game...We're not talking about playing against Marshall County and Madisonville-North Hopkins here...

There needs to be a real system in place that is backed with performance-based statistics, film and expertise to determine something of this level of prestige and renown...Otherwise it should cease to exist
