Go Purples!

Good tune up game for the Purples to get back in playoff form.

As for GC, the worst season in almost 2 decades still ends with 4 wins and a playoff appearance, with some promising building blocks for next year.

Certainly more than Marshall can say ?

Congrats to Graves County on their season.  They have some good young players.  I though their QB played really well as did their RB and had a few WRs make great catches.  So good luck going forward to the Eagles.

This was an important game for Bowling Green.

They didn't play well at Franklin County.  And frankly haven't beaten a good team this season.  Is that still the case?  I don't know, but when you win you build confidence and it is growing within this BG team.  Feel they played much more loose tonight and rallied around each other moreso than other games.  Lot to like.  More work to do to prepare for a good Apollo team.

Survive and advance!

Go Purples!

Great game purples!  Tough game next week but BG is favored.  I would love to see Apollo vs. BG and Atherton the next week.  Good luck BG.

If I’m a Graves fan I know this isn’t your typical season but I would be excited about the next year. You return your entire offense except 1 position and you were missing 3 starters 2 OL and 1 WR who will all be back next year and you have to replace 4 on the defense. I know Hunter Ditto and Kobe Thomas will be the biggest to replace but again it’s a defense that was still missing 3 starters that will all be back next year. Due to injuries it created a bunch of depth for next year. The schedule will still be tough but you get a lot of big games at home next year where Graves plays extremely well at.  At the end of the day they were combined 10 points away on the road from being 6-4 against teams that were much more experienced than them. This is a young coaching staff that did a great job of keeping this team together and getting better every week.  I wouldn’t focus on this being one of the worst record seasons when you played the 5th toughest schedule in 5A with a young team but how that should prepare you to be a tough out next year.
