Southern Illinois will advance into the Tourney. 3. Air Force and Butler won't. 4. Texas will lose in round 1 or 2 to a team not in a major conference. 5. UK will be eliminated in the Sweet 16. 6. IU will not be playing into week 2 of the Tourney. 7. Oregon will be beat by a team with a higher-numbered seed. Bookmark those and see how I do. :banana:

February 8, 200719 yr UK is the #2 four seed in these projections, behind Duke. If UK is to move up any further, or actually attain a higher seed in the real thing, they're going to have to win one of these upcoming games that they're not expected to, namely beating a Florida, UT (@ UT), etc. Hopefully they can maintain a high level of play to at least maintain their current seed.

Bookmark those and see how I do. :banana: I still find it funny that you would consider IU's season a failure if they don't advance to Round 3. To me winning one and then losing to Duke is probable. Doesn't mean the season is not a good one.

Sorry 98, and admittedly I'm not a huge Hoosier fan, but I find it funny that IU not being one of the last 16 teams playing in America is hunky-dorey. 3. What would you call it then? Of course I won't be happy if we don't make the sweet Sixteen but I see who is on the rister right now slated to come back for next year and it excites me. You're not coming off bad by mentioning them, even though I instigate the majority of the conversation of them on here, they are being talked about, which means they are somewhat relevant again. After the last 4-5 years of ridiculous coaching and ridiculous recruiting, relevance makes me happy in year one of KS Era. :thumb:
