The mountains are dark and unforgiving this time of year. Too frightening, even for what lurks below?  We shall see…. The Devils have left Breathitt County broken-hearted before.

Wins in the secluded town of Jackson have proven elusive for Russell over the years. They were on the brink in ‘96 and ‘02 before caving to the will of the eventual state champions.

The Devils are the healthiest they've been all season and make this trip with a gust of momentum at their back following a district title clinching rout of East Carter. 

The Bobcats also romped their way to a district crown, dropping 45 ppg along the way, led by quarterback Miles Hollon and thousand yard rusher Eli Thomas. 

They'll welcome the challenge from a Russell defense that's allowed two scores or less in eight games this season.

Is it a trick or treat for the Devils in a strange neighborhood? Let's ring the doorbell and find out on Halloween night.

Let's take a stroll down memory lane.... I've always thought a missed extra point in overtime is the worst way to lose a game.

Breathitt needs to go back to the block letter B on their helmet.

There must be something going on because I can't even get audio only  broadcast from Russell.
