Injuries and the unpredictable nature of high school athletes.

LexCath/Boyle is a rivalry game, to boot. When the Knights get up for that one, they're capable.

As far as Boyle/X goes, I read somewhere around here that the Rebels are the healthiest they've been all season and X was missing its starting quarterback.

What you read was wrong. Boyle's starting QB got hurt in the first half against Lex Cath. Was still out against St. X. Also Boyle lost starting safety and good receiver before the X game. Boyle then turned to soph QB Jhett Raleigh Who has done a great job on wins in the last three   games. I don't know where around here is, but they need to get their facts straight. What was your point rhat you were trying to make anyway?

The point was that injuries might help explain the Boyle/X outcome if the Rebels were finally healthy and X was not, but if Boyle was in fact still missing some key people, it renders the point moot.
